Basketball Recap: William Monroe Takes a Loss

William Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a blow against the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks, falling 61-34. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-36 back in January.

William Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Harrisonburg, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Looking ahead, William Monroe will square off against East Rockingham at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Harrisonburg, they will host Broadway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Broadway will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Harrisonburg surely won't give up without a fight.
