Volleyball Recap: Scottsboro Takes a Loss

Scottsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hartselle Tigers. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15.

Scottsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Hartselle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 39-12 record this season.

Scottsboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Guntersville on the 14th. As for Hartselle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Boaz on the 11th.
