Baseball Recap: Albertville Comes Up Short

Albertville lost against Huntsville last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Aggies lost 8-1 to the Panthers. The Aggies just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Albertville's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Huntsville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Albertville will take on Etowah at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Aggies' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Huntsville, they will challenge Westminster Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
