Basketball Recap: Watertown Comes Up Short

Watertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Waunakee Warriors and fell 82-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Goslings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-30 back in December of 2024.

Watertown's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Waunakee, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Watertown has already played their next matchup (against Edgerton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Waunakee has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Monona Grove.
