Basketball Recap: West Lutheran Comes Up Short

West Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The matchup between them and Heritage Christian didn't end well, with the West Lutheran Warriors falling 91-74. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while Heritage Christian are ranked 109th).

West Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Heritage Christian, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

West Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 83-56 defeat against Spectrum on the 3rd. As for Heritage Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 92-62 win against Eagle Ridge Academy on the 4th.
