Baseball Game Preview: Wasatch Wasps vs. Cedar Valley Aviators

For the second straight game, Wasatch will face off against Cedar Valley. The Wasps will take on the Aviators at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games Wasatch has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Wasatch is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over Cedar Valley. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wasps have posted since April 11th.

Blake Sweat made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double.
