 Kennedy lost against River City last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Kennedy Cougars fell victim to a  tough 15-5 defeat at the hands of the River City Raiders. Kennedy has struggled against River City recently, as their  contest on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
  Nico Lower made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 On River City's side, they let  Nate Petz and  Jaelen Fuller loose on the outfield. Petz  scored two  runs while going 4-for-4, while  Fuller  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nick Rodriguez, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Kennedy's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 9-9. As for River City, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy will  square off against McClatchy at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for River City, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Leroy Greene Academy at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
