Basketball Recap: San Augustine Wolves vs. Brookeland Wildcats

San Augustine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 49-39 to the Brookeland Wildcats. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 31-28 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the defeat, San Augustine saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tamiah Clark went 6-for-15 to rack up 17 points. Kirstern Smith was another key player, putting up seven points and eight boards.
