Basketball Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

West Point lost against Valley Vista back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The West Point Dragons were outmatched by the Valley Vista Monsoon and fell 74-6. The matchup marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

West Point dropped their record down to 7-10 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Valley Vista, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Point has already played their next game (against Shadow Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Valley Vista will head out on the road to square off against Millennium at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Vista knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Millennium likes a good challenge.
