Football Recap: Smith Vo-Tech Triumphs + How To Watch

Smith Vo-Tech hadn't done well against Quaboag Regional recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Vikings walked away with a 14-6 win over the Cougars. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 46-0 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

Smith Vo-Tech has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 26.5 points over those games. As for Quaboag Regional, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Smith Vo-Tech and Quaboag Regional will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Vikings see the field they'll take on Franklin County Tech at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. As for Quaboag Regional, their break will end when they face Ware at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th.
