Softball Recap: Franklin Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Franklin has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.06 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They walked away with a 16-12 victory over the Nute Rams. The Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Franklin's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Nute, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
