Basketball Recap: Cokeville's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Cokeville lost to Burlington back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Cokeville Panthers came out on top against the Burlington Huskies by a score of 56-49. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cokeville's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Burlington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

Cokeville won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Upton at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Burlington, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Meeteetse at 4:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
