Baseball Recap: Howard Takes a Loss

Howard came into this matchup off a tough 12-run defeat last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Long Reach Lightning by a score of 10-8 on Wednesday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Lightning recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Howard's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Long Reach, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Howard didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 defeat against River Hill on the 8th. As for Long Reach, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-6 loss against Marriotts Ridge on the 8th.
