Baseball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Silverado

Silverado had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Everything went their way against the Del Sol Dragons as they made off with an 18-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Skyhawks, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Hogan Hawkins made a splash no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Silverado's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-7-1 when he doesn't).

Silverado was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .560. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2025.

Silverado's record now sits at 12-7-1. As for Del Sol, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Silverado beat the Dragons by a score of 20-5 on Wednesday.
