Dynamic duo of Noah Guderian and Karsten Wetzel lead Birchwood Christian to victory

Recap: Birchwood Christian Warriors vs. Nanwalek
The Birchwood Christian Warriors won the last time they faced Nanwalek, and things went their way on Saturday too. Birchwood Christian managed a 36-30 victory over Nanwalek. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Birchwood Christian has scored all year.
Birchwood Christian was led to victory by Noah Guderian and Karsten Wetzel. Guderian scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Wetzel scored nine points along with five steals. Wetzel continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Kaleb Worland was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Birchwood Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Nanwalek, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Birchwood Christian and Walter Northway will face off at 3:30 p.m. on January 13th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Walter Northway has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 313 points over their last five contests. Nanwalek will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cook Inlet Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 12th.
