Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Longmont). Everything went their way against the Sterling Tigers on Tuesday as they made off with a 6-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Longmont needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

They hit Sterling with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Claire Sebring (4), Ella Erwin, and Cora Reinholt.

Longmont's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five contests. As for Sterling, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1.

Longmont wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Windsor Charter Academy on the 10th. As for Sterling, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Weld Central on the 10th.
