Football Recap: East Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for East's offense. They were beaten by the Huntington Huntsmen 44-0 on Saturday. The Tartans' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it nine in a row dating back to last season.

Huntington got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaac Taylor out in front who rushed for 103 yards and three TDs. Frankie Hirsch was another key passer, throwing for 183 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Huntington, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

East and Huntington will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Tartans will challenge rival Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Huntington is set to face off against their familiar foe Unioto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
