Basketball Recap: Jones Comes Up Short

Jones was the 54-53 winner over Devine when they last played one another back in February of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Jones Trojans were beaten by the Devine Warhorses 82-45 on Friday.

Jones has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Devine, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jones will take on Tuloso-Midway in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. Devine and Davenport will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
