Basketball Recap: Louisa-Muscatine Comes Up Short

Louisa-Muscatine lost against Lone Tree back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Louisa-Muscatine Falcons were beaten by the Lone Tree Lions 64-16. The matchup marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Louisa-Muscatine and nudges their season record down to 5-12. As for Lone Tree, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hillcrest Academy the next time they take the court. Louisa-Muscatine will host Hillcrest Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lone Tree will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
