Illinois Math & Science Academy won the last time they faced St. Edward and things went their way on Saturday too. The Titans won by a set and slipped past the Green Wave 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Illinois Math & Science Academy can attribute much of their success to Kendall Adkins, who had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces Adkins has posted over her last 13 matchups. Layna Velarde also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Illinois Math & Science Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matches.
