Grapevine is 8-0 against Ryan since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Grapevine Mustangs will look to defend their home pitch against the Ryan Raiders at 6:30 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Grapevine turned things around against Denton on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Broncos. The Mustangs' winning goal came courtesy of Brooke Turner.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ryan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Richland out 2-1 on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Raiders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 580th, while the Royals are ranked 139th).

Ryan's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Grapevine, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6-3.

Everything went Grapevine's way against Ryan in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Grapevine made off with an 8-0 win. Does Grapevine have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ryan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
