Taylor County is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Anne-Pacelli just ended the team's 13-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 58-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The loss put an end to Taylor County's undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Manchester took a blow against Harris County on Saturday, falling 67-18. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Taylor County's defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-1. As for Manchester, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Taylor County took their victory against Manchester in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 42-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for Taylor County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
