Basketball Recap: Overfelt Takes a Loss

Overfelt lost against Mt. Pleasant back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Royals took a 38-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The matchup marked the Royals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Overfelt's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Overfelt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-0 loss against MacDonald on the 15th. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will be home for the holidays to greet Gonzales at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
