Flag Football Game Preview: Poudre School District Stars vs. Mountain Range Mustangs

The Poudre School District Stars will head out to face off against the Mountain Range Mustangs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Poudre School District's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Aurora Central 46-0. Considering the Stars have won four matchups by more than 24 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Mountain Range can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past Aurora West College Prep Academy 24-0.

A big part of Mountain Range's win came down to the chemistry between Linda Archuleta and her top target Delilah Lucero. Archuleta threw for 148 yards and three TDs while Lucero picked up 118 receiving yards and four scores. The dominant performance also gave Archuleta a new career-high in rushing yards (87).

Mountain Range's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Poudre School District, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Everything went Poudre School District's way against Mountain Range in their previous meeting back in August, as Poudre School District made off with a 25-0 victory. Do the Stars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
