Volleyball Recap: Waccamaw Warriors vs. Aynor Blue Jackets

After flying high against Georgetown last Thursday, Waccamaw came back down to earth. The Waccamaw Warriors fell 3-1 to the Aynor Blue Jackets on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.

Waccamaw started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 26-24, 25-14, 29-27.

Alaina Brown was nothing short of spectacular for Aynor: she had 30 digs and two aces. Brown has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.
