Basketball Game Preview: Omaha Christian Academy Eagles vs. Cornerstone Christian School Cougars

The Omaha Christian Academy Eagles will face off against the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Last Thursday, Omaha Christian Academy came up short against Conestoga and fell 55-48. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cornerstone Christian School). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Whiting 66-16. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Cornerstone Christian School is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points per game. As for Omaha Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Omaha Christian Academy lost to Cornerstone Christian School on the road by a decisive 52-37 margin in their previous meeting last Thursday. Can Omaha Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
