Basketball Recap: Carmi-White County Takes a Loss

Carmi-White County was the 44-38 winner over Edwards County when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Carmi-White County Bulldogs took a 43-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edwards County Lions on Saturday. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Carmi-White County now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Edwards County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carmi-White County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Evansville Day at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Carmi-White County is facing Evansville Day at the right time seeing as Evansville Day is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Edwards County, they will welcome Webber at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
