Volleyball Recap: 'Iolani Comes Up Short

'Iolani was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bullard Knights.

'Iolani started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-22, 15-8.

'Iolani's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Bullard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

'Iolani will square off against Mid-Pacific Institute at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bullard, they will face off against Beckman at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Beckman will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Bullard surely won't give up without a fight.
