Baseball Recap: Concord Wins Going Away Against Salesian College Preparatory

After only one run in their last match, Concord made sure to put some runs up on the board against Salesian College Preparatory on Tuesday. The Bears blew past the Pride 12-5. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won three games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Max Dashner was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. He has become a key player for Concord: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Damian Kochaphum, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Concord's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Salesian College Preparatory, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Concord has already played their next contest, a 9-0 loss against Clayton Valley Charter on the 27th. As for Salesian College Preparatory, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-4 defeat against Skyline on the 27th.
