Baseball Recap: Franklin County Victorious

Franklin County's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Frankfort Panthers by a score of 10-6. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Flyers considering their one-run performance the game before.

Seaton Wix was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Franklin County is 3-1 when Wix posts three or more RBI, but 3-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jack Ross, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Franklin County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Frankfort only managed seven.

Franklin County's record is now 6-11. As for Frankfort, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Franklin County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
