Volleyball Recap: Greenwood Indians vs. Spencer Rockets
Greenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Spencer Rockets, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-16.
Greenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Spencer, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.
Greenwood will face off against Columbus Catholic at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spencer, they are taking a road trip to take on Abbotsford at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Spencer is facing Abbotsford at the right time seeing as Abbotsford is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
