Soccer Recap: Corcoran Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Corcoran was not quite Woodlake's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since February 2, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Leonardo Rios and Ulises Alvarez scored both of Corcoran's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

Corcoran's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4-3. As for Woodlake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8-2.

Looking ahead, Corcoran will face off against Wonderful College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Corcoran are facing Wonderful College Prep Academy at the right time seeing as Wonderful College Prep Academy are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Woodlake, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Lindsay on the 26th.
