Basketball Recap: Mount Horeb Gets the Win

Mount Horeb is still undefeated this season after their game against Lake Mills on Saturday, but Lake Mills came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Mount Horeb Vikings came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lake Mills L-Cats, sneaking past 79-76. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.

Mount Horeb's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Lake Mills, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Horeb will take on Sauk Prairie in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Mills and Marshall will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
