Baseball Game Preview: Glenbrook South Titans vs. Leyden Eagles

The Glenbrook South Titans will square off against the Leyden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Glenbrook South is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Palatine just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 5-4.

James Dooman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Meanwhile, Leyden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-2 to Fenwick.

Leyden saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hassan Khrawish, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Glenbrook South's loss dropped their record down to 15-20. As for Leyden, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-16.
