Basketball Recap: Bonny Eagle's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Bonny Eagle had to endure a 19-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 27-26 victory over the Noble Knights. The Scots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Bonny Eagle's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Noble, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-12.

Bonny Eagle will take on Thornton Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bonny Eagle has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Noble has already played their next contest (against Biddeford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
