Volleyball Game Preview: Quartz Hill Royals vs. El Toro Chargers

After both having extra time off, the Quartz Hill Royals and the El Toro Chargers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Quartz Hill is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Village Christian. Winning may never get old, but the Royals sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Meanwhile, El Toro posted their closest victory since March 1st on Saturday. They skirted past Laguna Blanca 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on four straight.

El Toro took Laguna Blanca into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 19-25, 17-25, 25-15, 15-13.

El Toro's victory bumped their record up to 17-15. As for Quartz Hill, they pushed their record up to 27-12-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
