Basketball Recap: Veribest Takes a Loss

Veribest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Robert Lee Steers, falling 38-13. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 49-34 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Veribest's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Robert Lee, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-16.

Veribest will square off against Bronte at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Veribest is facing Bronte at the right time seeing as Bronte is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Robert Lee has already played their next matchup (against Water Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
