Anson is 9-0-1 against Haskell since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will take on the Indians at 5:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Anson took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Albany 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since March 6th.

Meanwhile, Haskell had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene 4-3.

The victory got Anson back to even at 7-7. As for Haskell, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-7.

Anson got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Haskell by a conclusive 18-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
