South Florence entered their tilt with Crestwood on Thursday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Give the Bruins' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Payton Perry was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, South Florence let Ryleigh Hux and Riley Owens run wild. Hux scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Owens scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Reagan Rowsey, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

South Florence hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in 13 consecutive matches.

South Florence's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2.
