Softball Recap: West Fork Comes Up Short

West Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 14-1 to the Providence Academy Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-3 back in March.

West Fork's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Providence Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Coming up, West Fork will venture away from home to square off against Huntsville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Providence Academy, they will host Greenland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
