Baseball Recap: Hernando Falls Short of Clinton in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hernando can now relate to. They came up short against the Clinton Arrows on Saturday, falling 11-5. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this matchup were averaging 3.9 runs allowed.

Axton Westmoreland made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Josh Pe?a was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Hernando and nudges their season record down to 19-10-1. As for Clinton, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-7.

As of now, neither Hernando nor the Arrows have any future games scheduled.
