Douglas had won 16 straight games and Lauren Olsen did her part to make it 17 on Saturday. The Douglas Bearcats really took it to the Torrington Trailblazers for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-27 win thanks in part to Olsen, who went 8-for-16 en route to 21 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in each of the last 42 games she's played dating back to last season.

The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Wright, who posted 12 points and five boards. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 40.5% three-point shooting accuracy.

Douglas' victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 49.9 points. As for Torrington, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 14-7.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Douglas Bearcats duke it out with Powell Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Powell will need to watch out since Douglas has now posted at least 55 points in their last 15 games. Torrington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
