Volleyball Recap: Walnut Hills Takes a Loss

Walnut Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Lebanon Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 3rd.

Walnut Hills took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-19.

Walnut Hills' loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Lebanon, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Walnut Hills and Lebanon could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 508th) will meet Anderson (ranked 126th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lebanon will face off against Kings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (281 vs. 44).
