Volleyball Recap: Burgin Comes Up Short

Burgin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Danville Admirals, falling 3-0. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Admirals when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Burgin's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Danville, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.

Coming up, Burgin will venture away from home to challenge Danville Christian Academy at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Danville, they will take on Madison Southern at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
