Soccer Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss

Arlington entered their matchup against St. Benedict at Auburndale on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Arlington fell just short of St. Benedict at Auburndale by a score of 2-1. Arlington were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Benedict at Auburndale apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Arlington's goal came courtesy of Rowan Craven, who's now up to three this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Arlington and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arlington will take on University School of Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, they will face off against Munford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
