Kyli Truss leads a balanced attack to beat Germantown

The Neshoba Central Rockets waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with 18 straight wins but they left with 19. They walked away with a 56-49 win over Germantown. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Neshoba Central also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Neshoba Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyli Truss, who scored 17 points. Katelin Williams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Neshoba Central's win bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Germantown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.
Neshoba Central will be playing at home against Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30. Germantown on the road again on Tuesday and play against Murrah at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Murrah is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
