Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Somerville). They blew past The Pingry School Big Blue 14-2 on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Somerville now has a winning record of 8-7. As for The Pingry School, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Somerville and The Pingry School could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Pioneers will take on Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (167 vs. 18). Meanwhile, The Pingry School (ranked 286th) will meet Hillsborough (ranked 138th) at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
