Seminole Ridge is a perfect 10-0 against Forest Hill since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Seminole Ridge Hawks face off against Forest Hill Falcons at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Seminole Ridge and nine for Forest Hill dating back to last season.

Seminole Ridge might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-1 to Palm Beach Gardens, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Cailee Sessions spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Seminole Ridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Coffie, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Forest Hill came up short against Leonard on Wednesday, falling 20-3.

Seminole Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Forest Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Seminole Ridge took their victory against Forest Hill when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seminole Ridge since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
