Baseball Recap: Scholars Academy Comes Up Short

Scholars Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against John Adams, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Scholars Academy fell just short of John Adams by a score of 6-4 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for Scholars Academy in their meetings with John Adams: they've now lost four in a row.

Anthony Tedesco made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Benn, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Scholars Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for John Adams, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Scholars Academy are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
