Volleyball Recap: Air Academy Comes Up Short

Air Academy lost against Douglas County back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kadets fell 2-0 to the Huskies.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15.

Air Academy's offense was headlined by Audrey Kriss and Elly Siebert, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Audrey Husemann and her eight assists. Jiselle Rodriquez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Air Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Douglas County, they moved to 6-7 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Air Academy has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Canon City on the 11th. As for Douglas County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Pueblo Centennial on the 11th.
